Let me start by saying we have been on the road since July in Dominican Republic, Costa Rica & Mexico (just stayed at residence inn Cancun and had an amazing experience) Residence Inn Buckhead is the worst place we’ve stayed for the entire trip. This place is awful. We still have a few nights left but I’m going to try to leave and book somewhere else. First of all, the premises seems very unsafe. When we arrived back to the hotel tonight, we were entering our room when a very strange man kind of popped up on us and started approaching us. We quickly got into our room but feel very uneasy now. Also, a lot of cars with occupants that obviously aren’t staying here, “linger” in the parking lot at all hours. Just feel very unsafe in general. We felt safer in Santo Domingo, DR… On top of that, the room has a terrible old musty smell to it. The towels smell musty and unclean, the kitchen floor is sticky. Your shoes stick like it’s an old dirty bar or stadium. the whole place just feels dirty. Do not recommend. Very very disappointed

Horrible, rude staff. Dirty, old rooms. Along the noisiest road. I called to complain about one receptionist who threatened to cancel my reservation because she was too rude to stop speaking and listen to me. The general manager never called me back. I am a Titanium Marriott BonVoy Member. I stay at Marriott hotels more than 100 nights a year as a business traveler and this was the worst stay I’ve had in a very long time.

I just want to say that having to line the toilet seat was equivalent to being at a public rest stop. This place was disgusting!! And because of the uncleanliness, I had to purchase towels at the local market to ensure I had clean towels. It was unacceptable to say the least! I’m lucky I didn’t catch anything like scabies! m offended I paid to stay in this filth! It was absolutely disgustingly nasty! Period! I could have gotten better service at a motel. The carpet had not been cleaned and I’m sorry I didn’t take a picture of it! It was disgusting! The room was never serviced during my stay, despite the young lady at the front specifically asking if I wanted the room serviced while I was there. And from the pictures, it is evident that the room had not been properly serviced even PRIOR to my arrival. Those floors haven’t been mopped in who knows how long? It was not raining or from the shower and I certainly didn’t create those foot prints, Luckily, I only wear flip flops and they certainly don’t have that kind of sole print! Thank goodness for my flip flops, plus I make it a practice never to walk on hotel floors and this is why! Observe the filth and nastiness around the toilet?? That toilet hasn’t been cleaned for who knows how long!! Look at the shower gel, shampoo and conditioner dispenser and the tile!! This is the level of cleanliness that is proudly attributed to the Marriott brand! And as much money as people pay for their rooms and especially a handicapped accessible room that I didn’t request, they can‘t even properly fix this gross ceiling! Now how long has that patch work been like that? A few years?? This is motel quality at best! With this being Atlanta, people all over the world stay at this hotel. And when a hotel is not cleaned or serviced properly it becomes a petri dish for every disgusting element! It leaves to question whether CLEAN sheets or towels were replaced! Hence the purchased towels at the market. They need to do better!! Clean your rooms! Provide top notch service like the Marriott brand! This hotel is a joke! And I’ll never stay here again!! Ever!

Great front desk staff and breakfast that exceeded my expectations, especially the coffee bar with iced coffee. Eugene from maintenance promptly addressed one small issue with the TV and couldn’t. E more pleased with his service. Well equipped suites make from a great home away from home. Central location. Dog friendly.
